Kraydel: A new TV-based wellbeing platform for healthy ageing in place
Kraydel’s Konnect is a TV-based system that helps older adults remain healthy and independent. It enables video calls from the User’s TV to Supporters (e.g. family and carers) who use the Konnect smartphone app (iOS or Android). The app enables photos and videos to be displayed on the User’s TV. Konnect is also an IoT platform with sensors, and integrated devices (e.g. oximeter, sleep monitors, utility usage, smoke / CO alarms, etc). Device / Sensor readings are displayed in a dashboard where thresholds, alerts, reminders, etc can be set for display on the TV or on Supporter smartphones. XenZone: Bringing Kooth to Singapore
The presentation will walk the viewers through how XenZone has used technology to create a new way for young people to access the very best of mental health support and treatment in the UK, and its positive impact on young people’s mental health. We will also demonstrate the pathways we develop to integrate online work with face to face specialist services, thus offering a truly blended integrative model of mental healthcare. We are looking to work with a partner who would like to deliver services through our platform and will explore user journeys.

C2-AI: Ai solutions – reducing harm/mortality in hospitals and saving lives/costs
How unique, validated and approved solutions could help, as an example, save 350,000 lives in the US annually and reduce direct costs by $12.5bn.
C2-Ai has solved the problems of identifying and reducing clinical variation and how to measure and predict variation, harm and mortality in patient outcomes, accurately and clearly. Hospitals can see how well they are doing as C2-Ai directs them to areas where they can do better and suggests how things can be improved. Predictive tools help save lives and reduce both direct and long term costs for the healthcare. Healthcare organisations are inefficient environments where operational issues (e.g. broken IT, faulty equipment, estates and facilities issues) delay staff and prevent best patient care. We will hear from MediShout’s founder, Ash Kalraiya; a surgeon who created the company to solve real-world problems he experienced in hospitals. Elsevier: Accelerating the COVID-19 Research-Practice Continuum through Knowledge-Based Technology
It generally takes 17 years for research to find its way into clinical practice. COVID-19 has dramatically reduced this diffusion time. Dr Rao will discuss on how we can combine emerging evidence from clinical trials with real-world evidence, generated from clinical practice, to find treatments and vaccines for COVID-19. He will also touch on the role of technology in bridging the research-practice continuum.

Dr Amer Fasihi PhD, Chief Executive Officer, Kraydel
Amer worked in strategy, sales, and marketing at GSK, IQVia, IBM gaining experience in building knowledge services, use and applications of artificial intelligence and advanced analytics (e.g. Watson). He then founded a digital health monitoring service (Caros Connect), which is now part of Kraydel. He is a Fellow of the Centre for Digital Innovation, at University of Cambridge.

Elaine Bousfield, Founder and International Development Director, XenZone
Elaine Bousfield is the founder of XenZone the company that created Kooth.com. Kooth is available to 5.8 million young people and covers 85% of NHS commissioned areas in the UK. Kooth is a digital platform and mental health wellbeing community delivering peer support, counselling, psychotherapy and psychology services to children and young people aged 11 -25 years of age. Elaine is a former therapist and founded XenZone in 2001 and Kooth in 2004.

Richard was a COGX keynote speaker on the Global Leadership stage and won (with C2 Ai) two awards including the prestigious Tech4Covid award. The company is one of 10 Essentail Digital Health Ideas for a UK National Covid Response according to Healthcare UK.
With over 30 years in advanced technology, Richard has extensive experience as an entrepreneur, in strategy development, business planning/modeling, and creating commercial implementations for companies. He has co-founded businesses across four continents that have delivered up to 300x returns on first round.
He is the only private sector member on a project to create synthetic AI patient data sets for software validation.
In addition to his work at C2-Ai, he holds positions in other Ai-based and telecoms businesses. He is the author of three business books translated into multiple languages. Richard received an MBA with distinction from the Warwick Business School.

MediShout: The Operational Brain For Healthcare Organisations
Ash Kalraiya, Chief Executive Officer & Founder, NHS Innovation Accelerator Fellow, Orthopaedic Surgeon, MediShout
Ash is an Orthopaedic Surgeon by trade, training at Imperial College London. Whilst he has worked in the NHS for a decade, his passion for trauma and “fixing broken bones” has also taken him to work in South Africa and Malawi, where he operated as a World Orthopaedic Concern Fellow.
Ash founded MediShout after witnessing hospital infrastructure and logistical problems preventing best patient care, for example, when he had to cancel operations due to a broken theatre light bulb or had an anaesthetised patient waiting while he was fixing a faulty printer. MediShout solves this healthcare problem by providing the world’s first digital platform to integrate all logistical departments; giving clinicians an app to instantly report any issue while using artificial intelligence (AI) to predict future problems e.g. broken equipment, faulty IT.

Dr. Ujjwal Rao brings together a unique combination of skillsets and experience. He’s a physician executive, quality systems specialist, adept at healthcare information technology and artificial intelligence in medicine, advocating for an overall improvement in health outcomes, through the effective use of technology and clinical decision support systems. He is a trusted advisor to high-level Government think-tanks and Ministries of Health & IT. He also serves as an Assessor with the Quality Council of India for the National Healthcare Accreditation body –NABH and is a life member of the Indian Association of Medical Informatics.
Dr. Rao obtained his degree in Medicine and then specialized in Hospital & Health Systems Management, Medical Law & Ethics before completing his PhD in Quality & Medical Informatics and Micro-masters in Artificial Intelligence.

Matthew Wakelam, Product Manager, Static Systems Group
Matt Wakelam joined Static Systems Group as a technical apprentice in 2001 and, following completion of his apprenticeship, became a Technical Support Engineer. Whilst supporting UK and global clients, Matt gained an in-depth knowledge of a broad range of technologies and systems in use within the clinical environment. He progressed through the company to his current role as Nurse Call Product Manager.
Matt is responsible for ensuring that Static Systems’ products not only meet but exceed the bespoke requirements of healthcare professionals worldwide, using the latest technologies to enable clinicians to provide the best possible care to their patients.
Over the years Matt has been instrumental in developing systems and solutions that have even greater potential to improve patient/staff safety and staff collaboration through automated alerts, alarms and enhanced workflows using integration.
Matt is passionate about the integration of clinical systems, removing system boundaries and providing clinicians with the information they require directly to their fingertips, thereby maximising the time available to spend in direct care of patients.
